Construction crews have
been working to restore sidewalk in the Glen Town Center where it was
previously removed in preparation for Glenview’s Art Fest starting in August 6th.
Work completed this week, July 25 to July 29:
- Poured white concrete on Tower Drive between Navy Boulevard and Valor Drive
- Completed installation of planter beds on Valor Drive between Tower Drive and Patriot Boulevard
- Poured sidewalk and select driveways into parking garage on north Sable Drive
- Sidewalk prepped for concrete pour on Valor Drive between Tower Drive and Patriot Boulevard
- Seal stamped, colored concrete on Tower Drive between Navy Boulevard and Valor Drive
- Pour stamped, colored concrete on Tower Drive between Navy Boulevard and Valor Drive
- Pour concrete sidewalk on Valor Drive between Tower Drive and Patriot Boulevard
- Remove and replace curb, install planter beds, and prepare and pour concrete sidewalk on north Wolverine Drive between Tower Drive and the parking garage
- Finish pouring concrete driveways into parking garage on north Sable Drive
- Clean and prepare for Glenview's Art Fest (August 6-7)
Future Construction Activities:
- Begin removal on south Wolverine Drive between Tower Drive and the parking garage
- Begin removal of existing sidewalk on Navy Boulevard by the intersection of Navy Boulevard and Patriot Boulevard

- Glenview's Art Fest starts on August 6 and goes through August 7. Preparation for Art Fest will begin on Friday, August 5.
- All businesses are open during construction!
- Surface parking spots are limited. Parking in garages is strongly encouraged.
